Thanks for submitting this bug report and helping to make Ubuntu better.

The DpkgTerminalLog shows that the package file was corrupted.  Could
you please clear out the apt cache

   sudo apt-get clean

and then re-try the upgrade

   sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

?
