Hi there!

Thank you for taking the time to report bugs and trying to make Ubuntu
better.

Could you please try the following:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

or

sudo dpkg --configure samba-common && sudo dpkg --configure -a

This will try to configure the samba-common package that is preventing
the rest of the packages to configure. This command should try to
configure and should do it successfully, otherwise it will fail with a
better description of the issue.
