Hi sigmatech, thanks very much for taking the time to file this report.

At this point, I cannot reproduce this on any current release of Ubuntu,
or 10.04. The version you were installing is not  the version for 10.04,
so I think you may have had some extra repositories obfuscating the
proper packages.

Closing as Invalid.
