Using libvirt, we used this in our xml:
    <video>
      <model type='vmvga' vram='9216' heads='1'/>
      ...
    </video>

and it works ok. According to mdeslaur:
"10:27 <@mdeslaur> jdstrand: alpha 1 wouldn't work, but after the dist-upgrade it seems better"
