When I run sudo addgroup ftp if get that the group 'ftp' all ready exists.

sudo addgroup ftp

Bug description:
  The Update manager pops up and I select update. It fails on vsftpd
  every time. I do not have any problems with vsftpd that I am aware of
  other than failing in the upgrade process.
