This might be because you still have the version from the server-edgers
ppa?

You should be able to

	apt-get remove qemu-kvm
	apt-get update
	apt-get install qemu-kvm

then make sure that

        dpkg -l | grep qemu

shows that you have version 0.12.5+noroms-0ubuntu7virtio1.
