Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better.

It looks from the message as though bind9 upgraded fine but then failed
to start.  There is no indication in the attached logs of why.  Could
you please do 'grep named /var/log/syslog > bind.debug' and then paste
or attach bind.debug here?
