[Bug 696832] [NEW] drbd will not start with given default global configuration

Public bug reported:

Install ubuntu 10.04 or 10.10, then add drbd8-utils. Configure two nodes.
Try to get them up using

drbdadm up node

watch the error message:

drbd-devices remain unavailable.
