Ubuntu Server 10.04.1 LTS
4 GB, 200GB

Eucalyptus installed on single virtual server via vmware-player
I use my laptop to manage Eucalyptus, in which vmware-player is running UEC

I can upload images, but instances remain pending, then terminate
