Thank you for logs. I can see in logs errors that socket is in use:

smbd_open_once_socket: open_socket_in: Address already in use

Are you able to run smbclient -L //localhost -U someuserwithsambapasswd
or do you get error message like:

Connection to localhost failed (Error NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED)
