Public bug reported:
The Ubuntu 10.04 distributed with AMI ami-cc0e3cb8 (64bit) on EC2 EU-
West contains a bug with setting hostname/IPs on start/stop. It keeps
the old hostname.
We have seen this on 32bit as well, but we did not confirm this for this
bug report.
The version of cloud-init is 0.5.10-0ubuntu1.
Groet,
Jurg.
