[Bug 900391] [NEW] IE9 on Windows 7 cannot download files to samba 3.5.11 share

Public bug reported:

Observed the issue that with Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7 x64,
cannot download a file to a Samba share. Samba is confirmed to be the
version:

root at octavia:~# dpkg -s samba
Package: samba
Status: install ok installed

Installed-Size: 22504

Architecture: i386

Appears to be documented on Samba at 
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8458

I have not downloaded or installed samba on the server to test if this
resolves the problem, only that the problem I observe appears to be
similar

root at octavia:~# lsb_release -rd
