Description: this problem araised today after updating all dovecot
packages:

[AKTUALISIERUNG] dovecot-common 1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.4 -> 1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.5
[AKTUALISIERUNG] dovecot-imapd 1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.4 -> 1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.5
[AKTUALISIERUNG] dovecot-pop3d 1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.4 -> 1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.5
[AKTUALISIERUNG] dovecot-postfix 1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.4 -> 1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.5


De-Updating all these packages back to Version 1:1.2.9-1ubuntu6.4 solved the problem.
