Public bug reported:

I am trying to use vm-builder to automatically add PPAs to the resulting
VMs. This works partially, as the PPA is added to the
/etc/apt/sources.list file but the corresponding key is not imported.

This an example of the commands I am using:
sudo vmbuilder kvm ubuntu --hostname=1010-64-libo --suite=maverick --dest ~/Documents/VM/1010-64-libo --mem=512 --libvirt=qemu:///system --proxy=http://192.168.35.20:3142 --arch=amd64 --timezone=EST --addpkg=openssh-server --addpkg=ubuntu-desktop --ppa=libreoffice/ppa --tmpfs=4096 -v -office/ppa --tmpfs=4096 -v -o
