J, the fix is definitely a good candidate for a Stable Release Update.
We make sure to fix it in the dev release first so we don't have to keep
fixing it for every successive release.

I've nominated it for Lucid and Maverick, and it should be fixed sometime
in the near future. Once it is accepted for Lucid, I will target it at
10.04.3 to make sure it is sooner rather than later.
