[Bug 666383] [NEW] package mysql-server-5.1 5.1.41-3ubuntu12.6 failed to install/upgrade:

Public bug reported:

upgrade from 9.04 to 9.10 caused MySQL server failure, decision to
complete upgrade to 10.04 in hopes of quick resolution.

However during the install this error message was displayed.

If you require further info please ask.

I'm contemplating re-installing MySQL,

I guess this is a repeat of another bug. will search and add this to the
note.
