Ubuntu better.

According to the log file:

Running newaliases
newaliases: warning: valid_hostname: numeric hostname: 1
newaliases: fatal: file /etc/postfix/main.cf: parameter mydomain: bad parameter value: 1

It seems that the hostname of the system is invalid. I'd suggest to fix
the hostname to be a valid hostname.
