" I found a workaround regardless. I installed mdadm, ignored the postfix error, then on restart after installing 10.04 I removed postfix (apt-get remove --purge postfix) and reinstalled it (apt-get install postfix). No more errors."

But I still get...
"post-installation script returned error exit status 75".

What can I do next?
