[Bug 579094] Re: 10.04 Upgrade, backend no longer communicating with mysql database

I have a fresh installation of Ubuntu 10.04 and am trying to run the mythtv backend setup for 0.23 mythtv. 
It looks to me as though this is the problem I am having too.
If I can contribute please let me know, although I am only a beginner (not a complete newbie) so will need guidance.
