Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
Debian's package is based on Ubuntu's package.

Changelog entries since current lucid version 2.0.6-0ubuntu3:

dnsjava (2.0.8-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Port package to pkg-java based largely on existing Ubuntu package.
