Hey chuck,
I had the same problem. I tried to perform this fix, but I'm not sure if I did it right.

nick at nick-laptop:~$ dpkg-reconfigure bacula-director-mysq
/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure must be run as root
nick at nick-laptop:~$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure bacula-director-mysq
[sudo] password for nick: 
Package `bacula-director-mysq' is not installed and no info is available.
Use dpkg --info (= dpkg-deb --info) to examine archive files,
and dpkg --contents (= dpkg-deb --contents) to list their contents.
/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: bacula-director-mysq is not installed
nick at nick-laptop:~$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure bacula-director-mysql
dbconfig-common: writing config to /etc/dbconfig-common/bacula-director-mysql.conf
granting access to database bacula for bacula at localhost: already exists.
creating database bacula: already exists.
populating database via sql...  error encountered populating database:
mysql said: ERROR 1050 (42S01) at line 8: Table 'Filename' already exists
dbconfig-common: bacula-director-mysql configure: trying again (skip questions).
dbconfig-common: writing config to /etc/dbconfig-common/bacula-director-mysql.conf
dbconfig-common: flushing administrative password
Processing configuration ...Ok.
 * Stopping Bacula Director...                                           [ OK ] 
 * Starting Bacula Director...                                           [ OK ] 
nick at nick-laptop:~$ bacula
bacula: command not found

Does this output look right or would you need more information?
