+1 for a backport to karmic

I really don't like to be the guy who adds the +1 when you already know
the issue but I have to agree that this fix really needs to be put into
Karmic.  As a MySQL DBA who uses Ubuntu on a daily basis, relying on
readline support has been part of my routine using MySQL for years.
