Sir-

I didn't know if my Ubuntu install had mysql-server installed so I ran "sudo
apt-get install mysql-server" and got the following output:

j-roll at rollins:~$ sudo apt-get install mysql-server
[sudo] password for j-roll:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
*mysql-server is already the newest version.*
The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer
required:
  libdigest-sha1-perl liberror-perl git-core
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove them.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
j-roll at rollins:~$

On a hunch I attempted to reinstall bacula and it installed. I don't know
what caused the bacula installation to fail the first time but I have it
now. Thank you for responding. In hind-sight I'm sorry I submitted a "bug
report" but I *was* prompted to do so by Ubuntu.

Regards,

Ted
