[Bug 623021] [NEW] ubiquity-dm crashed with OSError in _execute_child()

on live cd in testdrive (qemu kvm).

booting left me with a screen showing just the ubuntu desktop
background. switching to VT and running top it seemed like most of a
session was running, so i am not sure why nautilus and gnome-panel were
not visible.

did:
sudo service gdm restart

and got a normal gnome session, and this apport report.

maybe the same as Bug #552047
