Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ipsec-tools

Prior to upgrading to Lucid there was a problem updating firefox from mozilla ppa -- which I cancelled. Then, after the upgrade to Lucid dpkg seemed to hang again on the process of setting up firefox -- cancelled again and removed by doing
$ sudo rm /usr/bin/firefox
$ sudo ln -s /usr/lib/firefox-3.6.3/firefox /usr/bin/firefox
$ sudo dpkg --configure -a

I was then able to run Synaptic and remove firefox from there (as well
as racoon as I noticed the problem with that in recent update)
