I have this exact same problem. I read of something very similar on this forum that it was a bug in the KVM BIOS and that a fix was coming, but I haven't seen a fix yet.

It occurred to me that perhaps it is a Windows 2008 Standard limitation since it will only run on 4 sockets:

Does anyone know if the KVM CPUs show up in Windows at separate sockets
instead of cores?
