[Bug 569919] [NEW] ntpd constantly complains about being unable to create socket

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ntp

It appears that ntpd synchronises the clock when starting, but then
fails to continue to update the time. I've also found my syslog is
filled with these messages from ntpd:
