Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: samba
When a windows (xp) client tries to browse a share on samba-from-ubunto, the ConsoleKit system tries to access an X windows server (port 6000) on the client machine. Since we don't have a running X server, these transactions need to timeout before the share is opened (about 25 seconds). The ofending process is ck-get-x11-server-pid.
Ok, maybe the bug is in ConsoleKit, but why is samba stimulating this task ?
