According to the log, you were configuring 0.96+dfsg-1ubuntu1, not 0.96
+dfsg-1ubuntu2.  This bug is one of the ones fixed by 0.96+dfsg-
1ubuntu2.  Please sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade.  Once
you have 0.96+dfsg-1ubuntu2, it should configure correctly.
