Confirming that as well, this is not a mouse-only problem.

With alpha1 the mouse move does not trigger any lags. With current
install the following is experienced:

$ while true; do sleep 1 && date; done
gives normal ticks when mouse is not moved, but once the mouse is moved (e.g. circling around the screen), the printing stops at some time and then the guest "catches up" quickly so that there is no visible distortion of time.
