Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: samba

Description: Ubuntu 8.04.4 LTS
Release: 8.04

In the current release of Samba 3.0.28a-1ubuntu4.11 any symlinks present
in a shared folder will not resolve correctly and a path not found error
is triggered on the client-side.

Rolling back the various samba packages and dependencies to 3.0.28a-
1ubuntu4.10 fixes the issue.
