Binary package hint: netcfg
When installing a Eucalyptus node controller using the karmic server CD
with the cloud seed, an Ethernet bridge device should be created
automatically. Having a bridge device is a requirement of running a
Eucalyptus node controller; you systematically have to create one when
installing eucalyptus-nc. Seeing that we are trying to make the
installation of UEC as smooth as possible, it would make sense to have
the bridge device created at installation time.
It may require to have a dialog to prompt for which device to be member
of the bridge, or jut assume the default network device to be the only
member.
