Summary: The official UEC image fails to boot

Steps to Reproduce: Download http://uec-images.ubuntu.com/releases/karmic/release/ubuntu-9.10-uec-amd64.tar.gz
                                  Upload to UEC
                                 Run image


Expected result: running image

Actual result: image drops to initramfs upon start

** Affects: eucalyptus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
