My problem was _not_ in the mysql-packages. I did install TexLive 2008
before.

I found the hint here:

"Manually install TexLive 2008 modifies your $PATH variable and places a
different version of install-info in your path the Debian one used by
package installations. You'll need to sort out your path so the Debian
version of install-info will be used when you are trying to install and
