[Bug 423289] Re: autofs deletes directories but does not re-create them

I'll try to get to it, but it may take a bit because my test case is
inside of a debootstrap environment that is not at all trivial to
setup and therefore not something I can run from the live CD. I'll
probably upgrade to Karmic shortly after the release next week and I
can try to test it then.
