Relevant error message:

  Backing up /etc/ldap/slapd.d/ in /var/backups/slapd-2.4.11-0ubuntu6.1... done.
  Moving old database directories to /var/backups:
  - directory dc=local... done.
  Loading from /var/backups/slapd-2.4.11-0ubuntu6.1: 
  - directory dc=local... failed.

Loading the database from the LDIF dump failed with the following
error while running slapadd:
    /var/backups/slapd-2.4.11-0ubuntu6.1/dc=local.ldif: No such file or directory
dpkg: Fehler beim Bearbeiten von slapd (--configure):
 Unterprozess post-installation script gab den Fehlerwert 1 zurück
Fehler traten auf beim Bearbeiten von:
 slapd
ignored 29 file(s).


It seems that the database dump has been done.

Could you post the complete apt terminal log files of the upgrade?
Especially the message related to the preinst script (which should say
whether the database has been dumped).
