Public bug reported:
Karmic UEC.
The non-Ubuntu images referred to in the Cloud controller interface
won't work with UEC in either of the MANAGED mode settings. They don't
appear to query the metadata service and of course key injection is
turned off when in managed mode.
So you get the frustrating problem of trying to launch a CentOS image
following the instructions and you can't get on as root.
We either need to roll new images, or remove that page from the
interface in UEC.
