Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: qemu-kvm
When upgrading from kvm on Jaunty to Karmic, the conffiles from kvm are
kept in the transitional package, resulting in both /etc/init.d/kvm and
/etc/init.d/qemu-kvm being present.
It is globally harmless, but a little dirty. The transition packages
should be cleaning up their old conffiles on upgrade.
On the Jaunty->Karmic upgraded machine, you end up with:
$ dpkg -L kvm
/.
/usr
/usr/share
/usr/share/doc
/usr/share/doc/kvm
/usr/share/doc/kvm/copyright
/usr/share/doc/kvm/changelog.Debian.gz
/lib
/lib/udev
/lib/udev/rules.d
/lib/udev/rules.d/45-kvm.rules
/etc/init.d/kvm
/etc/kvm/utils/kvm
/etc/kvm/kvm-ifup
