It looks to me that you have some filesystem corruption:

 * Checking quotas...
quotacheck: lstat status not possible for `//home/tjack/.gvfs':
Permission denied
You should execute fsck first!
leaving...
   ...done.
 * Turning on quotas...
quotaon: Can`t locate the quota archive turned on / [/dev/sdd2] to
toggle quotas on/off.
quotaon: Can`t locate the quota archive turned on / [/dev/sdd2] to
toggle quotas on/off.
