As to reproducible, a stalled installation which appears to have
completed is outside my experience. I changed to the other release in
the archive but found the vendor had changed the software to be
supported, gpsdrive, has changed to sqlite. However, so many bugs have
arisen there as to make further exploration more trouble than it is worth.
I can only suggest the first install of mysql 5.0 from the archive may
fail on a EEE 900A when Postgresql, Mapnik, and Gpsdrive have already
been installed. I was obliged to use a trick to reset the root password
in order to get into mysql if that helps any.
