Sorry folks, you can close this.

While I was messing around with LDAP, I renamed the file

/etc/ldap/slapd.d//cn=config/olcDatabase={-1}frontend.ldif

To

/etc/ldap/slapd.d//cn=config/olcDatabase={0}frontend.ldif

I renamed it back again and it worked.

       Status: New => Invalid
