[Bug 456806] Re: mountall vomits a shell onto virtual console when you run vi

After boot I was seeing constant disk activity and moderate cpu usage
(50% +) and eventually determined that mountall was the reason.  My
symptoms were similar to those posted for bug # 460153.

I applied the change in post #8 and rebooted and the problem went away.
