[Bug 323158] [NEW] alt installer looping, dhcp request every second

alt installer is trying to shut down.   not sure why it didn't finish and reboot, but instead gave me a menu.  I picked "Finish the installation" but nothing happened.  looking at syslog and my dhcpserver logs, I see it is looping doing a dhcp requests every second,
