Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: samba
selecting show side by side diff of local and pkg maintainers version of
smb.conf had no effect. Ditto for 3 way diff. Then tried 3-way merge and
the samba install aborted without any further option to interact. Near
the end of dist-upgrade, an hour later, a second chance was given, and I
picked "keep local version". Seems to be okay so far.
