Thanks, in this case, please run:

$ sudo -s
# export DEBCONF_DEBUG=developer
# export DEBIAN_HAS_FRONTEND=1
# /usr/share/debconf/frontend sh -ex /var/lib/dpkg/info/rkhunter.postinst configure

That should give us a good debug output.
