Running Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Hardy Heron on 2.6.16.38-xenU kernel
$ lsb_release -rd

Upgraded to mysql-server-5.0 package 5.0.51a-3ubuntu5.4
Mysqld won't start - results in segfault.
$ sudo sh -x ./mysql-server-5.0.postinst configure
+ . /usr/share/debconf/confmodule
+ [ ! ]
+ PERL_DL_NONLAZY=1
+ export PERL_DL_NONLAZY
+ [ ]
