You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Since I upgraded my system to feisty, I can no longer issue any tcp/ip
connections to one specific host on my network. The machine offers ssh
and irc services. I can no longer use any of these.

Connection attempts to both services will just result in a forever
hanging connection that never seems to time-out.

The ssh connection will hang when my machine tries to exchange keys.
Here's the last part of the output of a ssh -vvv:

debug1: Remote protocol version 2.0, remote software version OpenSSH_4.2-chrootssh
debug1: match: OpenSSH_4.2-chrootssh pat OpenSSH*
debug1: Enabling compatibility mode for protocol 2.0
debug1: Local version string SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_4.3p2 Debian-8ubuntu1
debug2: fd 3 setting O_NONBLOCK
debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEXINIT sent

I have no idea how to further debug this issue, sorry.

** Affects: openssh (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Invalid
