That isn't a solution. Try and be practical. Many people use the .local
suffix on their domain names. They're not going to change it just so
that they can add an Ubuntu machine to their domain - or because you
said so.

This needs to be fixed. There needs to be a way around the problem. I
understand that the problem lies more with implementation than code -
but it still needs to be fixed.
