I can confirm this.

On a completely new installation of Intrepid:
root at sandnabba: ~ #> /etc/init.d/postfix *tab-tab* bash: get_cword: command not found
bash: get_cword: command not found

abort   check   flush   reload  start   stop    
root at sandnabba: ~ #> /etc/init.d/postfix

Postfix: Version: 2.5.5-1
root at sandnabba: ~ #> bash --version 
GNU bash, version 3.2.39(1)-release (i486-pc-linux-gnu)
