Public bug reported:

I changed our server password to include some special characters (e.g., ¿). After that, I can't login to that server from my linux box (openssh-client nor putty). On other Windows box I can login without problem. I changed again the password to exclude the special character '¿' and now I can login in the server without any problem.
Once I'm logged in on the server I can write the '¿' character without beign mangled nor set blank as I saw in another bug report.

** Affects: openssh (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
